"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife"

Husband and wife finished reading Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice just around mid April, when #4 was born. The line is the opening line to the book. We highly recommend the book. Well-written, with compelling characters, it was the 1813 equivalent of a "chick flick."

This is one of my favorite books of all time, along with Anna Karenina. (Get the Pevear & Volokhonsky translation.)

I was just thinking it was time to reread P&P...
